January 2013 - Cristina Berselli Nature Photography

Unexpected meeting: A cool and early morning in January, I decide to go to the National Park Gran Paradiso in the hope of some close encounter with alpine chamois and perhaps, in higher, alpine ibex. I met several groups of chamois, which have become to my surprise, less elusive than last time, but even the shadow of ibex also because it is usual to see a lot more in altitude.
On the other hand I had a pretty close encounter with this cute and pretty bird, typical of alpine areas ...
